Kristina Reynoso, Ph.D.

Kristina Reynoso, Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist (PSY 19132) in the State of California for over 20 years. She is also licensed in the State of Colorado (PSY 0005894) and she is authorized to practice in 43 additional states. As an evaluating psychologist, she provides pre-employment psychological evaluations for a wide variety of law enforcement and public safety agencies. She is also responsible for performing Fitness-For-Duty Evaluations (FFDEs) at Core Psychological Corporation. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Reynoso completed her American Psychological Association (APA)-approved pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at an inpatient psychiatric facility, where she conducted complex psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Also, she has worked for many years conducting violence risk assessments for serious offenders eligible for parole.

Dr. Reynoso has provided training for law enforcement background investigators about the pre-employment psychological evaluation process, as well as training for mental health professionals on the topics of threat and violence risk assessment. She involves herself in a variety of continuing education to remain well versed in pre-employment psychological evaluations and FFDEs. She performs ride-alongs to maintain familiarity with the stressors and demands inherent in law enforcement work.
